The Force Awakens at Walmart!
From toys to and grocery to apparel, Walmart will have more than 500 new Star Wars products in stores and thousands more on Walmart.com. The excitement begins at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, September 4 at Walmart.com with Force Friday midnight events in 2,900 Walmart stores across the country
EXCLUSIVE: Walmart will be the only place to find the Star Wars Galactic Connexxions trading disc game by Topps, a collectible trading disc game featuring the Star Wars characters generations know and love. At Force Friday midnight events, Walmart will hand out a free limited edition two pack of the discs, including a rare star field disc that is only available in packs given away on Force Friday. If customers find one of four special redemption discs inside Galactic Connexxions game sold in stores, on Walmart.com or during the events, they can be redeemed for an ultra-rare 14 karat gold disc and a Star Wars room makeover.
They will also have Family events in our stores on Saturday, Sept. 5th, beginning at 10 am. We’ll be handing out the collector disc two-pack and will also be giving away collectable posters and activity sheets.

This collector set goes on sale Tuesday August 18th on Topps.com. This is a continuation of the Return of the Jedi 3D Widevision format that started last year. It’s a single-purchase collector box with 44 widevision base cards telling the story of Revenge of the Sith in spectacular 3D lenticular technology. Each box also contains 2 hits – a sketch card plus either a medallion card, patch card, sketch medallion card, printing plate or autograph.

Topps Giveaways and Signing at SDCC Today
There are 2 big things happening at the Topps Booth on Saturday at SDCC.
At 1pm they will be giving away a new Topps Star Wars Galactic Connexions trading discs to 50 lucky fans. The disc features the First Order Stormtrooper which will only be available at SDCC in an extremely limited quantity of 250. Topps Star Wars Galactic Connexions will be on sale on Force Friday September 4th exclusively in Walmart with 85 characters to collect.
Next up – Topps will be hosting Steve Blum, the voice of Zeb from Star Wars Rebels, at our booth at 3:30pm. He will be signing Topps cards for the first 50 fans. They also have the oversized vintage style cards for sale. There are ten sets to collect, each with ten cards for a total of 100 to collect, while supplies last (they were selling fast)
