We learned back in Episode V that Jedi visions can be hard to interpret and unreliable, but when Ezra has a vision that involves his parents, all he sees is “A Vision Of Hope”.

Here are my 10 favorite moments from the episode.

1. Ezra can’t hit the broadside of a barn.

Between his inability to focus and Kanan’s frustration, Ezra’s deflecting blaster bolts everywhere but the intended target. His first vision not only pulls him deep enough into the Force to finally do what Kanan’s asking for, but it signals the depth of his abilities. What the vision means, however, remains to be seen.

2. At last, we meet again.

Seeing Zare again is a relief because now we know he was successful in convincing the Empire he was a true cadet. It’s also heartwarming when Ezra tells Zare his real name. The meeting is cut short, but Zare’s ability to help Ezra while making the stormtroopers believe he’s on their side saves the day.
