Giancarlo Esposito Teases The Mandalorian Will Have Seasons 3 and 4

Via People.com:

The Mandalorian’s second season is set to hit Disney+ on October 30

Giancarlo Esposito may have let a big detail about the future of The Mandalorian slip.

The actor appeared on People (the TV Show!)’s Emmy Awards pre-show to talk about his two nominated shows: the Disney+ Star Wars series and Better Call Saul. While talking to co-host Lawrence K. Jackson, Esposito revealed how the show will start getting bigger — and teased future seasons.

“We’re living in a universe that is huge and there’s so much to explore,” Esposito, 62, says in the clip above. “So I think this show is going to lay the ground work for the depth and breath that’s gonna come in season 3 and season 4, where you’re really gonna start to get answers.”

Season 2 of the show is set to start up on the streamer on October 30. The Mandalorian wrapped season 2 production in March, just weeks before the industry-wide production shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Mandalorian is the most anticipated show of the fall

Via Winteriscoming.net:

No surprise: people are eager to see Mando and Baby Yoda back in action. What else are they looking forward to, and what are they streaming most right now?

“This is the way.” It’s been a while since we’ve heard that phrase, or caught up with our favorite bounty hunter and alien child duo, but The Mandalorian’s second season is just a little over a month away and fans cannot wait to dive back into the first-ever live-action Star Wars series. In fact, Rotten Tomatoes surveyed 1,000 people about which series they’re most looking forward to watching this fall, and The Mandalorian was at the top of the list for returning television shows.

Following the Baby Yoda craze late last year and the show’s many Emmy nominations (with a few wins already), it’s not so surprising to see The Mandalorian claim the top spot.

The ‘Star Wars’ x adidas Originals Rivalry Hi “Chewbacca”

Via Hypebeast.com:

Every time we see a Star Wars x adidas Originals sneaker, we’re transported to another universe in terms of outlandish designs and faithful character references, but nothing compares to the duo’s latest pair — the Rivalry Hi “Chewbacca.”

The legendary Wookiee warrior has been honored through-and-through with his own pair of Rivalry Hi sneakers, which are made from leather, suede, and a faux fur fabric that looks as if your feet have turned into Chewbacca’s. adidas Originals has used a color palette consisting of “Raw Desert,” “Mesa,” and “Chalk White,” to further channel the Wookiee realness.

There are also a number of other details that help bring this shoe to life. For example, a strap on the tongue is a nod to the belt Chewbacca wore during Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, while “STAR” and “WARS” lace locks have been added in chrome silver to make sure you know exactly what you’re repping.

Chewbacca’s face and name grace the tonal tongue tag, while his entire seven-foot, five-inch body has been shrunk to fit on the insole. On the interior side of the tongue tag there is a further reference to the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, and rounding out the pair is a debossed Trefoil logo on the heel.

The Star Wars x adidas Originals Rivalry Hi “Chewbacca” is set to release on adidas’ website on October 21 for £119.95 GBP (approx. $155 USD). Take a closer look at the pair above.

How Rey’s Yellow Lightsaber Compares To Luke’s Blue Saber

Via Screenrant.com:

Rey constructs a unique yellow-bladed lightsaber at the end of The Rise of Skywalker, and it’s a far cry from Luke and Anakin’s blue saber.

At the end of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, after burying the lightsabers of her mentors Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa, Rey reveals her newly-constructed, yellow-bladed lightsaber – but it’s noticeably different in several ways. Set decades after Luke Skywalker revives Jedi traditions in Return of the Jedi, the Star Wars sequel series features a number of characters reckoning with the legacy that he and his companions left behind. Prime among them is Rey, whose journey along the Jedi path is complicated by her familial relationship to Sheev Palpatine, one of the fiercest Sith Lords of all time and the architect behind the near-extermination of the Jedi.
