BB-8, the beguiling roly-poly droid that emerged as one of the breakout stars of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, may have met his match in the cuteness department.

Over the weekend at the fan convention WonderCon in Los Angeles, a diminutive cosplayer simultaneously blew minds and warmed hearts with her pitch-perfect BB-8 costume, into which she could disappear at will.

In addition to the exterior details — orange-and-white color scheme, HAL 9000-like eye, dual antennas — the costume even featured a tiny hatch through which the wearer could perform BB-8’s signature thumbs-up.

According to Hello Giggles, the costume was designed by William Miyamoto for his daughter, Kayla.
