​The Star Wars buzz still hasn’t died down, and fans have led speculations about upcoming movies. But are some of the franchise’s stars in on the joke, or do you have to send in more Stormtroopers to build up the punchline?

A recent picture showing Star Wars actor Ewan McGregor working out and sporting a beard reminiscent of his role as Obi Wan Kenobi. It left fans wondering if he was in training for a possible solo movie. News of an Obi Wan movie has been floating around the fandom since 2015, but nothing has moved past that yet.

When asked about it backstage at the Golden Globes on Sunday, McGregor told reporters, “There’s a lot of talk, and I’d be happy to play him again, but I don’t know anything more than you do.” Director Stephen Daldry has been in talks to direct the movie, but it hasn’t reached past those talks.
