Lightsabers Ignite The Dance Floor In This ‘Star Wars’ Remix

Via Cnet.com:

When Yoda ignites his green lightsaber, you know he means business. Check out the remix treatment from Eclectic Method in this music tribute to lightsabers, otherwise referred to as “an elegant weapon, for a more civilized age.”

In the new music video, we see Yoda, Emperor Palpatine, General Grievous, Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Maul and Mace Windu in various lightsaber duels throughout the saga everywhere from the Death Star to desert arenas.

This isn’t the first time Eclectic Method has paid homage to “Star Wars.” Yoda was honored with his own tribute remix video, as well as the Dark Side of the Force.

In January, R2-D2, C-3PO, Gonk, Probot, and other “Star Wars” robots were the muse in this catchy music video called “Droids.”

Eclectic Method — led by Jonny Wilson — is known for its danceable audio-visual remixes that gained acclaim in the 2009 documentary “Copyright Criminals,” which celebrated the creativity of music sampling.

“There is still so much ground to cover, and I’ll be doing a few more Star Wars remixes this year,” Wilson told Crave.

In past music videos, Eclectic Method has also made music remixes paying tribute to “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Ghostbusters.”
