LOS ANGELES — Instead of just rolling out a new SUV or car, Nissan invoked “the force” to draw attention at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

Previously, Nissan unveiled a single Star Wars-themed vehicle. This year, it has seven. They aren’t for sale. They’re meant to draw attention to the brand. But still, they show how cars can be customized into something unique.

“It was an unbelievable collaboration we had last year and kicked off this working relationship with Lucasfilm,” says Jeremy Tucker, Nissan’s U.S. head of marketing, told USA TODAY. “We’re back at it in a big way.”
