Print Out ‘Star Wars’ Pancakes

Via Cnet.com:

Why have a boring breakfast when you can print out the kind of pancakes that would impress even the likes of Yoda? Norway-based breakfast food enthusiast Miguel Valenzuela created a pancake printer he calls PancakeBot to do just that.

Last year, Valenzuela built PancakeBot using stepper motors, Arduino controllers and clear acrylic. It can be programmed to draw intricate designs of everything from the Eiffel Tower to Spider-Man’s iconic mask.

Now he’s gone a step further by paying tribute to two of the most beloved characters in “Star Wars” — bounty hunter Boba Fett and astromech droid R2-D2.

Watch the latest video of PancakeBot creating “Star Wars” pancakes — it draws out Boba Fett’s helmet and even adds a little bit of blue to represent the lights in R2-D2’s droid dome.

Valenzuela has recently partnered with StoreBound to bring PancakeBot to everyone’s kitchens in the near future via Kickstarter.
