Proposed Lego Set Has Star Wars Bobbleheads

Via Cnet.com:

A suggested new Lego set that includes a bobbing Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Boba Fett, Darth Vader and Stormtrooper could become real if it gets enough votes on the Lego Ideas site.

Star Wars fans who want their favorite characters to nod at everything they say might consider voting for this new fan-created Lego set of bobbleheads.

The proposed set, created by Lego Ideas user Jalex, includes Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Boba Fett, Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper, all of whom have a simple antenna that attaches their heads to their bodies, creating a bobbing effect. Each character is made using between 80 and 100 Lego pieces.

“The Lego bobblehead can, compared to the traditional bobbleheads, easily be rebuilt and the head can be detached and swapped with other bobblehead figures,” Jalex wrote on the proposal page. “The head can also be turned in all directions.”

The head of each character bobs and nods with just a light tap.

In the “Lego Star Wars Bobbleheads” video, posted Monday by the Lego set’s creator, it’s fun to see Han Solo bobble just a little while a Stormtrooper shakes so much more. Maybe that’s why Stormtroopers are such bad shots?

The Star Wars Bobbleheads set needs 10,000 votes to be considered for production by the official Lego team. Currently, the project has almost 170 votes.
