Director Ron Howard has officially brought his younger brother with him to a galaxy far, far away.  While overseeing the final sound mix for the Han Solo origin film, Howard tweeted a behind-the-scenes pic of sibling and longtime collaborator Clint Howard in raw footage from the upcoming Star Wars movie with the younger Howard brother appearing as a ragged, unkempt figure in a currently unknown gritty location.

As with previous films in the ubiquitous science fiction franchise, the audio mix is being completed at Skywalker Sound, Lucasfilm’s in-house sound design and music recording division based out of Skywalker Ranch in California.

His performance in Solo marks Clint Howard’s 17th appearance in a theatrical film directed by his older brother having appeared in Ron Howard’s feature film directorial debut Grand Theft Auto. Since the 1977 movie, Clint has also collaborated with his brother in Apollo 13, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Frost/Nixon among many other productions.

His role in Solo also makes Clint Howard as one of few actors to work in both Star Wars and Star Trek first appearing as Balok in the original series’ episode The Corbomite Maneuver in 1966 while working as a child actor. Since then, Clint Howard has appeared on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Enterprise, and this year’s Star Trek: Discovery.
