The Rancho Obi-Wan Experience is at Star Wars Celebration Chicago April 11-15, 2019
McCormick Place, Hall F1, Booth 5516

Our exhibit will feature a 20-year retrospective on Star Wars Celebration, dazzling collectibles for the female fan, and a stunning display of helmets.

In addition we will have a great variety of Rancho Obi-Wan branded merchandise for sale, a super fun spinning wheel with an assortment of merchandise from the Star Wars collecting past, and a sweepstakes you can enter to win a book autographed by George Lucas.

All current supporting Members of Rancho Obi-Wan get a lightspeed pass to bypass the line into The Rancho Obi-Wan Experience. We’ll be printing Memberships and Lightspeed passes at the Con all week–please support our mission of inspiration by becoming a Member at Celebration!

Rancho Obi-Wan Merchandise Pre-order & Celebration Chicago 2019 Information

Rancho Obi-Wan will be at Star Wars Celebration Chicago, April 11-15, 2019, McCormick Place West, hall F1, booth #5516! The 1,200 square foot exhibit will feature three special displays–come see us!

You will be greeted by a 20-year retrospective on Star Wars Celebration, the first of which was in Denver in May, 1999 and developed by our own Steve Sansweet. 12 conventions later, the expectations, activities and fandom itself has evolved and changed. Take a walk down memory lane or view these items for the first time.

Next, what does it mean to be a female fan of the Saga? How has fem fan expression changed in the decades since 1977? Come see a fun selection of items and collectibles from then and now and learn what makes this subset of fans tick.

Finally, it wouldn’t be an exhibit worthy of our Guinness World Record without a massive display of helmets from the collection here at Rancho Obi-Wan. From the very first licensed helmet by Don Post to high-end collectibles and detailed cosplay replicas, from fan-made to artform, this colorful display will have you mesmerized.  All current supporting Members of Rancho Obi-Wan will be emailed a “lightspeed pass” allowing them to bypass the queue into our exhibit at Celebration.

New merchandise available online 10 DAYS ONLY – Sale ends Thursday, February 28th, 2019 5pm PST

We’ve revamped our merchandise for this convention and are offering a one-time, Spring-fundraising, online, pre-order that ends February 28th, 5pm PST. Items can be picked up at Celebration or they can be shipped to you in May.

Current supporting Members of Rancho Obi-Wan are offered an exclusive patch commemorating the 20th Anniversary of Episode I and featuring Darth Maul. Only current supporting Members can order the Celebration Chicago specific items online, however they will be available to all attendees of Celebration at our booth in Chicago. These items will not be made again.

Last chance for the Rancho Obi-Wan 2017 Membership Kit!

There are only a few days left to make a donation to Rancho Obi-Wan that may be deductible from your U.S. 2017 taxes. We know a lot of nonprofits ask for donations this week and so we appreciate the support that you give us.

We never use funds to purchase items for the collection. We must pay taxes, insurance, security, utilities, fees, subscriptions, hosting and more. All of this is required before we can uphold our mission of preserving the collection for the use of inspiration and education.

We do not receive grants or loans, we are 100% funded by fans like you. Your support allows us to welcome fans on tours here in Petaluma, curate inspirational exhibits at Celebration, give free tours to school kids and donate tours to other charities to help with their own missions. In 2018 our goal is create an online virtual museum so that we can share with fans from all over the world.
